Job Description:As a Groundskeeper
, you will be responsible for keeping our property’s outdoor spaces pristine, functional, and safe. In this hands‑on role, you will perform a combination of landscaping, maintenance, and repair tasks while collaborating closely with the maintenance team. Your work will directly impact the overall appearance and appeal of the property, ensuring residents have a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment.
- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of community grounds, including lawns, walkways, parking lots, and common areas.
- Mow, trim, and edge lawns, and manage seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting flowers and shrubs.
- Maintain outdoor amenities such as pools, clubhouses, and recreational areas. (CPO certification is a plus)
- Handle snow removal, salting, and ice control during winter months.
- Identify and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues as they relate to outdoor equipment.
- Assist in general maintenance tasks, including drywall repairs, patching, and texture work.
- Respond to and complete maintenance work orders related to the grounds and outdoor spaces.
- Manage waste and litter control across the property to ensure cleanliness.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members to address maintenance issues.
- Participate in on‑call for Snow Removal needs.
- Personal set of general tools for grounds and maintenance tasks.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or general apartment maintenance preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a drug and background check.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Hourly Rate
: $20.00 - $25.00 - Additional Incentives
