Leasing Consultant
Join Centerspace as a Leasing Consultant at Civic Lofts Apartments and Lydian Apartments in Denver, Colorado.
In this role, you will drive leasing goals, foster relationships with prospective and current residents, and earn competitive base pay of $20–$24 per hour with commissions on new leases and bonuses for renewals.
SummaryResponsible for renting apartment units to maintain maximum occupancy and deliver an exceptional customer experience that promotes optimal retention.
Expectations- Follow established procedures, comply with all leasing policies, Fair Housing requirements and applicable laws.
- Self‑directed after training, prioritize duties and meet deadlines.
- Manage the leasing funnel and achieve company performance benchmarks.
- Analyze competitors’ offerings and pricing.
- Prepare office and tour path for business.
- Generate prospects through advertising, outreach and grassroots campaigns.
- Assist with community social media and follow established standards.
- Provide application service, coordinate leasing documents, conduct move‑in orientation.
- Address resident needs, retention events and appreciation campaigns.
- Coordinate communication with residents via phone, email, text, portal, app.
- Work effectively as a team contributor.
- Maintain Fair Housing Practices and resolve issues.
- Participate in networking groups and community service projects.
- Maintain accurate records in software and files.
- Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Preferred:
Background in sales.
- Read and interpret lease documents and procedural manuals.
- Perform basic arithmetic and compute rates, ratios, and percentages.
- Apply reasoning to solve practical problems.
- Computer literate with property management software (MRI preferred); knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands and lift up to 10 pounds; proficiency in close, distance and depth vision.
