Are you passionate about archaeology, adventure, and working in the outdoors? As an Archaeologist I (Flex-Time), you'll be part of a professional field survey team conducting cultural resource investigations across the western United States. This role is ideal for early-career archaeologists seeking hands‑on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that preserve and protect our shared cultural heritage.

Working alongside experienced archaeologists and field leaders, you'll travel to remote and scenic locations, conduct archaeological surveys, record cultural resources, and help ensure compliance with federal, state, and Tribal regulations. Every project offers an opportunity to expand your field skills, gain exposure to diverse landscapes and archaeological traditions, and make a lasting impact on resource stewardship.

This flexible opportunity offers the chance to gain valuable field experience, work alongside respected archaeologists, and explore some of the most remarkable landscapes in the western United States. Whether you're beginning your archaeology career or seeking seasonal field opportunities, you'll be part of a team dedicated to preserving cultural resources while supporting impactful projects across the region.

If you enjoy working outdoors, discovering the stories of the past, and contributing to projects that matter, we'd love to hear from you.
