Specializing in baked goods and desserts, pastry cooks are the scientists of the kitchen. Precision, consistency, and creativity are the name of the game, and a pastry cook is master of these traits. Responsible for the production and presentation of breads, cakes, and pastries, a pastry cook works in a team dynamic and follows directions and communicates with the chef team.

• Preparing ingredients and handling baking and other kitchen equipment.
• Creating pastries, baked goods, and confections, by following a set recipe.
• Decorating pastries and desserts to ensure beautiful and tasteful presentation.
• Ordering new supplies, ingredients, and equipment when needed within budget.
• Setting up, cleaning, and organizing a workstation.

• Prior experience as a Pastry Cook highly preferred.
• Innovative and creative personality.
• A passion for all things pastry and confectionary.
