Store Manager in Training; MIT

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?

• Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present
• Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries
• Lead onboarding and initial training of new hourly staff
• Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence
• Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling
• Ensure staff adhere to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.)
• Drive upselling and customer service excellence, ensuring all team members do the same

Desired skills/experience:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store
• Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems
• Availability to work 4-5 days a week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
• Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
