LHH is partnering with a leading lifestyle brand to bring on a Merchandiser on a temporary basis for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will support regional merchandising strategy and execution, aligning with global objectives while meeting local market needs. This position requires strong cross‑functional collaboration, analytical skills, and consumer‑centric decision‑making, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in merchandising (apparel and accessories preferred).
The organization seeks a detail‑oriented and innovative professional to join their team and help scale regional product performance through data‑driven insights and strategic assortment planning. This is a full‑time 6‑month contract role (40 hrs/week) operating in a hybrid setting out of their Denver, CO office with an hourly pay rate of up to $32‑$35/hr
, depending on experience and qualifications.
What you will do:
- Execute seasonal merchandising strategy within the region, adapting assortments for local market dynamics and consumer preferences.
- Build seasonal line architecture and pricing strategies aligned with global guidelines.
- Provide feedback to global counterparts on styles and line plans based on consumer insights and local needs.
- Monitor marketplace execution and collaborate with planning teams to achieve financial targets.
- Analyze consumer demand trends and competitive landscape to inform assortment decisions.
- Drive regional relevance through SMUs, capsules, and customer‑specific initiatives.
- Prepare and present category strategies during sales meetings and define showroom assortments (A/B/C sets).
What you need:
- 5+ years of retail experience in merchandising or buying, preferably in apparel and accessories.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in retail math and assortment planning.
- Experience in vertical retail and omni‑channel environments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross‑functionally and manage multiple priorities.
