Branch Sales Manager – Denver, CO

Applied Industrial Technologies invites you to step into a results‑driven role as Branch Sales Manager. The Denver geography includes the front range from Greeley down to Pueblo, about a 120‑mile radius, and all the way out to the Eastern Plains. We do not do any business in Mexico.

Typical estimated total compensation for this position is $115,000–$150,000 per year, including a salary of $70,000–$90,000 based on experience and bonus opportunities based on performance.

What You’ll Do

As Branch Sales Manager, you will have P&L responsibility. Lead your team in building value and ongoing relationships with new and existing industrial B2B customers. Much of your time will be in the field, calling on and developing customers on your own and coaching your account managers. Our diverse customer base includes aggregate, food & beverage, paper, OEMs, schools, hospitals, government, and more.

  • Hire, train, and develop strong‑performing team players
  • Develop, manage, and implement service center sales activities and strategies, account assignment, territory management, sales performance goal achievement, and margin management
  • Identify and evaluate new customers, market conditions, opportunities, and competitive pressures
  • Recommend and implement actions to maximize sales, increase margins, and expand market share
  • Personally manage assigned accounts as required
Qualifications
  • 1+ year sales management and leadership experience including team development
  • 2+ years B2B outside sales experience
  • Industrial distribution experience a plus
  • P&L experience a plus
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English grammar)
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (MVR)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • This position is not eligible for relocation benefits and is expected to be performed on site
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.; we are not able to offer sponsorship of work visas for this position
