Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic, experienced Sales Engineer for Security Solutions to join our team. This role is perfect for a professional who has a deep understanding of security systems, access control, and engineering, and who thrives on selling and providing complex technical solutions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales with a focus on security solutions, and a passion for keeping up with the latest trends and technologies in the construction industry.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales teams to drive growth by securing new clients and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
- Demonstrate and explain complex security solutions to potential clients, using your expert knowledge of our products and services.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations and proposals to meet the specific needs of clients.
- Provide technical support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction and understanding of the security solutions provided.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement comprehensive security solutions.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in the construction industry, particularly in relation to security solutions.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote our security solutions.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on client needs and market trends.
- Train sales teams on the technical aspects of our security solutions to ensure they can effectively sell these products and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven track record in selling security solutions.
- Strong knowledge of security systems and access control.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a way that is easy for clients to understand.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.
- Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the construction industry.
