We’re seeking an exceptional Account Manager to run a book of business for existing customer relationships, convert inbound opportunities, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
As an Account Manager, you will own and expand a defined portfolio of customer accounts, with direct responsibility for retention, revenue expansion, and customer lifetime value. By focusing on net revenue retention—growing existing relationships through upselling, cross‑selling, proactive account management, and consultative selling—you will sustain and grow our revenue pipeline.
We collaborate closely with Marketing, Graphic Design, and Production to deliver a seamless customer experience from opportunity through fulfillment, while operating with the urgency and accountability required in a growth‑stage organization. This individual‑contributor role reports to the Sales Manager and provides senior leadership with regular visibility.

Key Responsibilities- Account Ownership & Expansion
- Own a defined portfolio of customer accounts and serve as the primary point of contact.
- Drive revenue expansion through structured account management, upselling, and cross‑selling across Terra Slate’s product and service offerings.
- Proactively identify new use cases, applications, and opportunities within existing customer relationships.
- Build long‑term, trusted partnerships that increase retention, repeat business, and account share.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets through expansion‑focused selling and inbound opportunity conversion.
- Maintain a clean, active, and accurate pipeline in Hub Spot, including next steps, close dates, and forecast updates.
- Respond to inbound leads, quote requests, and customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism.
- Manage quotes and orders with a strong understanding of margin, profitability, and customer value.
- Customer Experience & Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Production, Design, and Fulfillment teams to ensure timely, accurate, and high‑quality delivery.
- Own customer communication throughout the order lifecycle and proactively resolve issues within defined escalation paths.
- Serve as the voice of the customer by sharing feedback, insights, and competitive intelligence with internal teams.
- Product & Market Expertise
- Develop deep knowledge of Terra Slate’s products, applications, and value proposition across key industries.
- Represent Terra Slate professionally at select trade shows or customer events (1–2 times per year).
- Success in this role will be measured by clear KPIs, including:
- Consistent achievement or exceedance of assigned revenue and expansion targets.
- Strong customer retention and net revenue retention within assigned accounts.
- Month‑over‑month pipeline health and expansion opportunity creation.
- Increased average order value (AOV) and account profitability.
- High customer satisfaction driven by responsiveness, accuracy, and proactive service.
- 100% CRM compliance: all customer interactions, opportunities, and next steps accurately logged in Hub Spot.
- Accurate order execution in Shopify in alignment with quoted terms.
- Active contribution to a positive, accountable, and team‑oriented culture.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in account management, sales, or revenue‑focused customer roles.
- Proven ability to grow existing accounts and consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to communicate effectively with decision‑makers.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
