Project Sales Consultants are part of the In-Home Outside Sales Team. This is a full-time, commission-based position with W-2 benefits, where typical earnings range from $45K to $80K, with top performers earning over $90K annually. Sales reps usually visit the local sales office once a week; on other days, they receive scheduled appointments via email to visit from their home. Consultants' territories are approximately up to 2 hours around their home zip code.

This role offers pre-set, pre-confirmed appointments with customers who have contacted Sears requesting estimates on our Home Improvement Products. This is not door-to-door sales.

Responsibilities / Requirements
  • Extensive local market travel using a personal vehicle to appointments; a valid driver’s license and adequate automobile insurance are required.
  • Ability to lift sample cases up to 40 lbs, depending on the product.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Ability to work five days a week, including Saturdays; additional days and flexible hours may be required based on volume and seasonality.
  • Effective negotiation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service, listening, and influencing skills, with a passion for improving customer lives.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
