Security Officer

Security Officer – Full Time – Locations:
Denver, Westminster, Aurora, & Boulder, CO

Base Pay: $19.00/hr – $22.00/hr

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances and exits.
• Conduct patrols inside and outside the client’s premises in various weather conditions.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Protect evidence or scene of incident in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations.
• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer/technology skills needed.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Ability to interact professionally with a wide range of individuals.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screening and background investigation.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are a plus.
• Physical requirements may include seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly; reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; frequent sitting, standing, walking; climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Frequent lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
