Concrete Finisher

Mark Young Construction, LLC (MYC) has an excellent opportunity for reliable and dependent Concrete Finishers to join us as we continue to grow!

Concrete finishers work closely with the on-site crew Foreman and team members on various projects throughout the year.

• Form, rebar and pour; footings, walls, curbs, walks, stairs, and ramps.
• Freehand curb and gutter.
• Ability to read survey grade stakes.
• Capability to read and comprehend drawings to construct/brace formwork, tie rebar and finish concrete.
• Operate power trowels, skid steers, forklifts, augers, breakers, saws and other equipment.
• Work with and get along with other teams on the job site to accomplish the work at hand.
• Work safely and respectfully.

• Strong desire to do good work and grow within the concrete division.
• Ability to work nights or travel out of town for occasional projects.
• Knowledge of concrete work and other construction trades that are part of concrete.
• Have personal tools such as impact, saws, floats, edger, jointer, hand trowels and boots.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently communicate with Crew Foreman, Superintendent and Managers.

• Salary: $22.00-$35.00 an hour (Depending on Experience) plus bonus!
