Telecom Office Technician

Our client is searching for Central Office Telecommunications Technicians to decommission various locations. These locations may require travel for several months at a time, potentially across different states. The project is expected to last about one year. All candidates must pass drug, background, and DMV tests. Candidates must have several years of experience working in central offices and hands‑on experience providing telecommunications support.

• Secure and wipe data
• Dismantle and remove equipment
• Inventory assets
• Dispose of assets
• Remove furniture and junk
• Perform repairs
• Conduct a final walkthrough
• Return keys

• Ability to log into telecommunications equipment such as DWDM, SONET, routers, switches, MUXes.
• Fiber optics experience (running jumpers, cleaning fiber).
• Experience with test equipment (OTDRs, test sets).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
