What You'll Handle

As a Technician, you'll support restoration and disaster recovery work that helps properties recover after unexpected damage. You'll work with a crew to complete mitigation tasks safely, accurately, and with strong attention to documentation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support water extraction, fire and mold remediation, light demolition, roof tarping, and emergency board-ups
  • Set, monitor, and break down drying equipment; complete post-remediation cleaning
  • Load/unload tools and materials; bag, move, and transport debris
  • Keep vehicles maintained, clean, stocked, and response-ready
  • Follow all Environmental, Health and Safety requirements and keep the job site safe
  • Help with crew sheets, room notes, photos, daily field reports, work orders, and tracking time/expenses
  • Communicate job needs and updates to your supervisor/leadership; assist across multiple service lines as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Restoration experience (preferred)
  • Have or obtain a Water Mitigation Certificate within 1 year
Your Typical Shift

You'll start by checking in with the crew, confirming the day's priorities, and making sure the truck is organized and ready to roll. Once on site, you'll move between active work areas, staying aware of safety requirements and the needs of the customer's space. Expect steady coordination-taking photos, noting room details, and keeping paperwork current-while your team progresses through the job.

As conditions change, you'll pivot to support where you're needed most, then wrap up by staging gear for the next response and sharing clear updates with your supervisor before heading out.
