Backend Developer

Build scalable and secure backend services for our healthcare platform.

As a Backend Developer at MiiQC, you'll build scalable and secure backend services that power our healthcare platform. You'll work on critical features that handle sensitive patient data, integrate with external healthcare systems, and ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. Your work will be essential to providing healthcare providers with the tools they need to deliver better care to their patients.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using modern technologies and frameworks
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code that follows best practices
• Design and implement APIs that are consumed by frontend applications
• Integrate with external healthcare systems and APIs
• Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Optimize application performance and implement monitoring solutions
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other engineers
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders

• 4+ years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Node.js, Python, Java, etc.)

• Understanding of security best practices and data protection
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with containerization and microservices architecture

• Knowledge of HIPAA and other healthcare regulations is a plus
