As a Gogo Senior Airborne Platform Automation Test Engineer you will be responsible for quality assurance and testing of software for Gogo airborne products on a Linux platform. You will help create, execute, and automate tests for both existing products and our Next Generation 5G Air to Ground and Satcom solutions, and work closely with other teams across the company.

• Verify, validate, and regression test software features including Linux networking, wireless telecommunications, data protocols, mobile communication, and device’s graphical user interface.
• Create test plans, test scripts, and test cases for product validation and bug fixes based on system requirements.
• Review, update, and execute existing automated regression tests and analyze results.
• Automate regression tests via the Gogo GATE framework.
• Identify and troubleshoot software/network problems and implement appropriate corrections.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 4–7 years of software, firmware, and/or system testing experience, including test planning, integration testing, and system level testing.

• Strong QA experience, particularly in automation scripting.
• Fluency in Python 3.
• Experience with Linux and development in Linux OS environments.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux routing and networking protocols (TCPIP, UDP, etc.), including performance and throughput testing.

• Experience with the Jenkins automation build and test environment.
• Software configuration management skills using Git.
• Linux server administration skills.
• Knowledge of the Agile software development methodology and SAFe framework.
• Understanding of Linux container concepts, especially Docker.
• WEB GUI test automation.
• Experience with Avionics and ARINC protocols.
• Proficiency with the DO‑178C certification process.
• Satellite communication experience.
• Cellular network experience.

Equal pay for equal work. Base Pay: $ – $ USD Annual. Target Annual Short‑Term Incentive:
