Senior Software Engineer – Altamira Technologies Corporation

We are seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our world‑class Space Systems engineering team in Denver, CO. Candidates should have a strong foundation in object‑oriented software development and experience working in a Linux or Unix environment.

Security Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required for security clearance.
• Able to obtain TS/SCI.

Required Skills

• Relevant experience in Java and/or C++ Development for a high‑performance system.
• Experience developing complex software solutions in a Java environment.
• Typescript, Spring Boot, React or Vue.
• No
  
  SQL databases.
• API design and development in Java, Go, or Rust (Java preferred).
• Development of serverless and/or containerized software.
• Automated testing.
• CI/CD.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Experience working in a software development environment that uses continuous integration methodology with automated tests.

Desired Skills

• Java software experience.
• Security+ Certification is a plus.
• Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Full‑stack developer with cloud deployment experience.
• Cloud experience and AWS developer certification with EC2, S3, Security Group.
• Experience with scripting languages including Power Shell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with Dev Sec Ops  toolsets (JIRA, Confluence, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Git, etc.).
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef or similar.
• Database knowledge & familiarity (e.g., Mongo
  
  DB, Postgres) a plus.

Education & Experience Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree (STEM discipline).
• OR 4–8 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree (STEM discipline).

Equal Pay Statement

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for these positions is $90,000 to $225,000. Altamira Technologies Corporation considers multiple variables when determining compensation, including but not limited to level of responsibilities, prior work experience, education/certifications, customer contractual specifications, and clearance requirements.
