Application Developer

• SW and services to teams at VIPER
• Geronimo and Ready
• Applications that are written in Go
• Allow developers to deploy applications to infrastructures all over the country
• REST APIs allow customers to make HTTP requests in remote data centers
• Kubernetes are the systems they provision. Runs on Linux
• Primarily this person will be a developer
• Working on feature/functionality related to APIs and remote clusters
• Day to Day/Team make up:
• Daily stand up. About 15 minutes
• Developers spend 10-15% of time in meetings, rest of time developing
• Team involved in roadmap and long-term discussions
• Have multiple people working on the same thing
• Ready has 2 developers
• Other systems have 2 developers
• Will be working closely with other people
