Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $/yr
Test Automation Engineer
Work Arrangement: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home
You will work across development and operations functions, contribute to test automation using AI, and support the delivery of high-quality software solutions in a fast-growing environment.
What You’ll Do- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end and integration automated test suites for complex systems, focusing on microservices and publish-subscribe architectures.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance and maintain robust testing infrastructure.
- Prioritize manual test cases for automation to ensure a streamlined and efficient testing process.
- Translate project requirements into comprehensive test plans and automated test cases.
- Report on test suite performance and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for clear communication of status and metrics.
- Apply best practices in the testing pyramid to ensure thorough coverage across unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders to align resources and priorities.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability.
- Proven experience designing and implementing automated test suites for complex systems, particularly microservices and publish-subscribe architectures.
- Experience leveraging AI to enhance testing processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support efficient software delivery.
- Familiarity with infrastructure and environment management tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers in testing practices and strategies.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
