Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack, AI Focus)

Salary: $125K - $250K (Base)

Struction is building the compute platform for construction, leveraging software and AI to empower the physical builders in an industry where productivity has declined over the last five decades. We are automating complex, manual processes like construction estimation, turning weeks of work into automated processes using AI. Joining now means becoming Employee #6 during the "golden window" where you will directly shape the product direction.

We are backed by a $5M Seed round from Spider Capital and Eniac Ventures and have achieved 50% month-over-month growth since our January launch.

This role is crucial for hitting our March 1st public release milestone and ensuring the platform's UI/UX is in place. You will be instrumental in building core, frontier-level AI systems grounded in real-world construction challenges.

• Architect and scale our multi-turn AI agent orchestrator.
• Design and build human-in-the-loop approval systems with granular permissioncontrols andUI for argument visualization.
• Develop performant 2D canvas tools for precision takeoff, PDF annotation, and real-time measurements.
• Engineer and optimize our Bill of Materials (BOM) table with Excel-like formula capabilities and collaboration features.
• Build a chat interface for natural language interaction with the platform, integrating multiple backend services.

• Experience:
  
  3-5 years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Proven full-stack engineer witha roughly
  50/50 front-end/back-end split.
• Proficiency in React and Type Script for both front-end and back-end development.
• Experience with production AI/LLM applications and experience with HTML Canvas or Web Assembly.
• Experience at an early-stage AI-focused startup or at construction AI tech companies is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ability to move fastand learn new frameworks quickly.
