Senior Application Architect

W2 Contract Only – No C2C – No 3rd Parties

The Ash Group is hiring a Senior Application Architect for our client (a specialized financial services subsidiary providing dedicated new home construction financing). This is a Direct Hire role with compensation starting at $160,000 annually, based in Denver, CO (Hybrid setting).

This role provides technical leadership in the development and design of robust, scalable applications within the Microsoft Azure environment, with a primary focus on replacing and modernizing existing applications for the client's title services.

  Annual base salary starting at $160,000. (Eligible for annual bonus based on performance objectives).

• Lead the design and implementation of application‑specific architecture, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient solutions that align with enterprise standards.
• Serve as a full‑stack C# developer, writing clean, testable code and contributing to the successful delivery of software toward sprint goals.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and other architects to refine requirements, optimize development processes, and align technical solutions with business goals.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and proactively identify / resolve issues to maintain system stability and performance.
• Mentor junior technical resources through code reviews, pair programming, and continuous coaching regarding technical skills and behaviors.

• 8–10 years of software development experience and technical leadership, with a minimum of 2+ years developing technical road maps.
• Expertise as a full‑stack C# developer using the Microsoft technology stack (.Net Core, Web API, Web Services).
• Strong relational database skills, including writing complex SQL, creating stored procedures, and analyzing query plans.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies and Dev Ops practices, including managing and presenting technical solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Cloud development on the Microsoft Azure platform.
• Strong technical background in various technologies:
  Vue.js, MS SQL Server, ASP.Net, MVC, and Web Services / SOA.
