We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our Data side of the AI team. You will be responsible for all aspects of data collection and ingestion pipeline that support model training. You will work with AI scientists to scale data, improve cost and throughput, and drive dataset roadmap for Speechify’s next‑generation consumer and enterprise products.

• Scrape new audio sources and ingest them into our pipeline.
• Operate and extend the cloud infrastructure for the ingestion pipeline on GCP, managed with Terraform.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier.
• Partner with the AI team and leadership to craft the dataset roadmap.

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with bash/Python scripting in Linux environments.
• Experience with Docker, IaC and a major Cloud provider (GCP).
• Experience with web crawlers and large‑scale data processing is a plus.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
