Key job responsibilities
  • Delve into a distributed service‑oriented architecture and harness state‑of‑the‑art technologies such as AWS, Native iOS, Android, React JS, and others.
  • Create and implement new system capabilities that scale across multiple marketplaces.
  • Maintain a comprehensive perspective on software architecture, guiding from product requirements to actionable engineering tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams (SDEs, PMs, TPMs, SDMs) to craft top‑quality technology solutions.
  • Plan, execute, evaluate, deploy, and uphold inventive software solutions that boost service efficiency, resilience, cost‑efficiency, and security.
  • Meticulously document software for future developers to ensure clarity of features and components.
  • Apply best practices in software engineering to maintain high quality deliverables.
  • Actively engage in defect resolution by identifying root causes and delivering comprehensive solutions.
  • Contribute to operational excellence within a rapidly expanding tech stack.
  • Take charge of problem solving, propose effective solutions, and ensure seamless handover to stakeholders.
  • Engage in discussions regarding design, project scope, and prioritization.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, innovation initiatives, and potentially contribute to patent filings.
  • Play an essential role in the interview process and support team training and peer mentorship.
  • Evaluate key performance metrics and participate in shaping the evolution of the tech product.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
  • 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
