Senior Java​/J2EE Engineer Telecom Billing & API--CHODC

We’re looking for a Senior Java Engineer with strong telecom domain experience to design and develop quotation engines, pricing platforms, and billing solutions for complex telecom commercial systems.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked on telecom pricing logic, rate plans, discounts, credits, promotions, rating, charging, or billing platforms — and can translate complex business requirements into scalable, production-ready applications.

• Design and develop telecom quotation engines, pricing engines, and billing systems using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Build complex pricing and commercial logic involving rate plans, discounts, credits, adjustments, offers, promotions, and business exceptions.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger, YAML, and API management platforms such as Apigee.
• Implement event-driven services using Kafka and other messaging technologies.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab and follow secure API development practices.
• Use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or Git Hub Copilot to accelerate coding, debugging, and testing.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and business teams to convert complex telecom requirements into effective technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis across APIs, integrations, and business logic.

• Strong hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Telecom domain experience with direct exposure to quotation, pricing, billing, rating, charging, or commercial systems.
• Experience building or enhancing pricing engines, quotation solutions, billing platforms, or promotion engines.
• Strong understanding of rate plans, discounts, credits, adjustments, offers, and pricing exceptions.
• Hands‑on REST API development, OpenAPI/Swagger, YAML, and API security.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git Lab CI/CD, and preferably Kafka.
• Practical experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude, Claude Code, or Git Hub Copilot.

• React/Next.js, AWS Bedrock, Generative AI, and AI-assisted UI development.

Java engineers who have built or enhanced telecom quotation, pricing, billing, or charging systems and understand the underlying commercial business logic — not just the API layer.
