Senior Backend Software Engineer

• We are looking for a strong Backend Senior Software Engineer who wants to create deep and meaningful product engagement experiences! We have an increasing user base, and you will be focusing on implementing and enhancing our investment and financial products. In order to take on this mission we’re building our applications on modern web technologies around HTML/CSS/Java script/React, NodeJS/Typescript, PostgreSQL, Amazon Lambdas and Kinesis etc. You should be comfortable in contributing to every part of the stack: from UI to API development, to complex integrations with financial institutions and partners, and building infrastructure, but you will be expected to be focused mostly on backend development

Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, high-performance web applications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience

Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns

Strong fundamental understanding of relational Databases (Postgresql, Mysql)
Familiarity with AWS cloud platforms and Dev Ops practices is a plus Motivated to leverage new AI tools and technologies

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Able to model and design intuitive and scalable schemas

Proven experience on building backend services with high availability and scalability requirements

Strong experience with Java script, Typescript and Node.js

Experience with agile/scrum development methodologies
