Field Representative

Colorado NFL FLAG has partnered with iHire to reach top talent for this opening.

As a Field Representative, you will be an essential part of our game day operations team, working closely with the Field Coordinator to ensure smooth, safe, and enjoyable league events. You will help set up and tear down fields, coordinate and assist with equipment transportation, assist coaches and officials, and maintain a positive environment for players, families, and spectators. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, community‑centered environment.

Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand league game rules; stay up to date through provided training.
  • Assist the Field Coordinator in overseeing game day operations and resolving minor issues.
  • Set up and tear down field equipment and materials, ensuring proper placement and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate and assist with the transportation of equipment to and from the field (e.g., tents, signs, cones, game supplies).
  • Engage with coaches, families, and officials to provide assistance and maintain positive relationships.
  • Help supervise games to ensure schedules run on time and in accordance with league guidelines.
  • Address conflicts or minor disputes professionally among spectators, coaches, players, and officials.
  • Uphold and enforce league rules, expectations, and guidelines.
  • During the season, be available for weekend game days, and up to 75 minutes on two weeknights for pickups and Google Meet calls.
  • Attend coaches’ calls and weekly referee calls to ensure alignment with all field staff.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking game day materials, including occasional weekday pickups from the office.
  • Arrive at the field at least 1 hour before the first practice and remain 30 minutes after the last game to ensure cleanup and organization.
  • Attend coaches’ meetings and assist with communication as needed.
  • Maintain responsiveness on communication platforms.
  • Assist in merchandise sales during events.
  • Capture photos of players and games for social media use.
  • Track referee hours, note field issues, and document spectator concerns.
  • Contribute to weekly reporting.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, coaches, and volunteers.
  • Comfort with handling light physical labor (e.g., setting up tents, moving equipment).
  • Flexible availability for evenings and weekends during the season.
  • Must have a working smartphone for communication and reporting.
  • A positive, professional, and solution-oriented attitude.
