With warehouses in six states and a diverse product catalog, our shipments primarily range from 10 to 50 pounds, including small parcel and standard oversized packages. We are seeking a logistics expert to optimize shipping, packaging, freight, and inventory distribution to enhance profitability and efficiency.

The E-Commerce Logistics Manager will be based in our corporate office and work closely with our warehouse teams to improve logistics operations. This role focuses on reducing shipping costs, optimizing packaging, improving transit times, and strategically transferring inventory between warehouses to improve fulfillment speed and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate has experience in multi-channel e-commerce fulfillment, carrier negotiations, and warehouse logistics, with a strong ability to analyze cost drivers and implement data-driven solutions.

• Develop cost-effective parcel and LTL shipping strategies for packages between 10 and 50 pounds, ensuring competitive pricing and timely delivery.
• Identify opportunities to reduce dimensional weight (DIM) surcharges and shipping inefficiencies.
• Negotiate carrier contracts to secure optimal rates for small parcel, standard oversized, and LTL shipments.
• Analyze shipping data and carrier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities across all fulfillment channels.
• Implement multi-carrier shipping solutions to improve delivery times and lower costs.

• Assess and refine packaging solutions to minimize excess weight and DIM surcharges while ensuring product protection.
• Work with vendors and warehouse teams to introduce cost-effective and sustainable packaging options.
• Standardize packaging practices across warehouses to ensure consistency and reduce material waste.

• Evaluate the cost-benefit of transferring inventory from our main warehouse to regional fulfillment centers based on demand, shipping costs, and transit times.
• Develop strategies to position inventory closer to high-demand regions, reducing last-mile delivery costs and improving customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to implement efficient internal inventory transfer processes.
• Analyze historical order data to anticipate inventory needs and proactively shift stock as necessary.

• Optimize fulfillment strategies across Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Target, Wayfair, and other sales channels.
• Ensure warehouse teams follow best practices for order picking, packing, and shipping to minimize labor costs and improve efficiency.
• Identify and implement technology solutions that enhance inventory tracking, order routing, and fulfillment speed.
• Work closely with warehouse teams to ensure real-time inventory accuracy and proper stock allocation.

• Monitor and analyze shipping costs, warehouse efficiency, and fulfillment speed, using data to drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain logistics KPIs to measure carrier performance, packaging efficiency, and warehouse productivity.
• Identify inefficiencies in fulfillment workflows and recommend actionable solutions to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Work with finance and operations teams to forecast logistics expenses and implement cost-control measures.

• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment management.
• Expertise in small parcel and standard oversized shipments, with a strong understanding of carrier rate structures and dimensional pricing.
• Strong knowledge of parcel, LTL, and freight shipping operations.
• Experience negotiating and managing carrier contracts.
