Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is currently seeking Part time, Seasonal, On Call Snow Plow Drivers to perform snow and ice maintenance operations in the Denver, CO area, specifically on the Central 70 project. This position requires performing a variety of tasks related to highway/roadway snow and ice maintenance, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

Geographic area applicable to CDOT Local Hiring Goal includes, but is not limited to, the following zip codes: 80010, 80011, 80022, 800205, 80207, 80211, 80216, 80221, 80238, 80239, 80249, 80266.

Salary
$39/hour + end of season bonus. Total compensation includes paid training and PPE, with additional benefits such as a 401(k) plan.

• CDL A or CDL B license
• Clean driving record
• Must pass criminal background check

• Snowplow experience
• Roadway maintenance experience
• Wheel Loader, Skidsteer, Fork Lift, Asphalt Roller operator
• MOT Certifications (traffic control)

• High School Diploma/GED
• Background checks compliance (criminal record, driving record, drug testing)
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic
• Maintain safety equipment required for each job
• Adapt to latest technology and use smartphones and applications
• Ability to adjust to changing work schedules and weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous manual labor
• Ability to operate hand/power tools

• On Call - Part Time. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts with short notice when called to clear roads.
• Paid pre-season training on Saturdays (attendance required). Snow season runs September - May. Training covers routes, vehicle operations, and onboarding.
