Medical Delivery Driver, 6am to 2pm; $19.50/hr

• Most of your day will be spent in a company‑owned vehicle, safely driving and transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x‑rays, hospital supplies, inter‑office mail and related materials.
• Operate a hand‑held scanning device to accurately track items through the transportation cycle.
• Strictly observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public through appearance and interaction.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean, neat and orderly vehicle.
• Route duties vary based on client and business needs; LSRs must perform all duties across all routes assigned.
• Demonstrate teamwork, cooperation and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative Med Speed team culture.

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity working with and adapting to technology.
• Demonstrated ability to follow procedures closely.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Must have an excellent driving history; must drive a non-commercial vehicle throughout the shift on various roads and in varying weather conditions.
• Proof of COVID‑19 vaccination depending on location and local mandates.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, lift items off storage racks, and walk long distances or stand for long periods of time.
