Position Description

• Pay Rate: $21.50
• Benefits:

• Move product within the warehouse, prioritize and pick product to fill orders.
• Physically lift and move product weighing up to 150 pounds.
• Load and unload delivery trucks – lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds and handling tires greater than 50 pounds.
• Designate and organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing sufficient space for overflow.
• Perform periodic facilities maintenance and custodial tasks (clean parking lot, loading dock, building area, keep floors clear of debris, maintain bathrooms, assist with daily closing).
• Compile and submit regular reports of damaged, outdated stock or supplies, over‑ and under‑shipments, return of products to vendor, and segregate defective product from normal flow.
• Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage product for loading.
• Assist in verifying incoming and outgoing products for accuracy in amount, size, and type; inform management of inventory shortages; assist with periodic inventory counts.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and maintain operator license if required.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as handling and preparation of paperwork and daily warehouse closing.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess valid Class “C” driver’s license or appropriate license classification per Department of Transportation requirements for vehicle weight.
• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision.
• Company may consider alternatives to the above qualifications at its discretion.

• Stand, walk, sit, use hands; reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl; talk, hear, taste, smell; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; handle tires greater than 50 pounds.
• Work environment exposed to weather; noise level usually moderate.
• Travel: 5% of the time.
