Technical Support
Most technical roles expect you to show up ready. This one is built to make you ready.
I’m working with a global commercial equipment manufacturer in Denver, NC that does something I rarely see: they hire for attitude and aptitude, then invest six months training you before you ever touch a technical case on your own.
The role is Service Tech II. Here is what the path actually looks like:
Phase 1 — Learn the business. Salesforce, case intake, products, workflows. You are getting paid to build a foundation, not thrown into the deep end.
Phase 2 — Shadow technical calls. Handle guided troubleshooting. Start building real diagnostic skills with experienced people beside you.
Phase 3 — Transition into fully technical work. Own cases. Solve problems. The company expects you to keep growing toward Tech III or another senior technical support role from here.
This is not a dead-end customer service seat. It is a structured runway into a technical career at a company that manufactures its own products and supports them globally.
What matters more than a degree:
→ You listen well and communicate clearly
→ You can juggle multiple systems and stay organized
→ You are curious about how equipment works
→ You take ownership and follow through
A degree or certification is not required. Experience in customer service, call centers, maintenance, technical support, or commercial/food service equipment is a plus. Basic mechanical or electrical aptitude helps, but they will develop that with you.
Denver, NC (fully in-person, Monday through Friday, 8 to
5) (outside of Charlotte, NC)
If you or someone you know wants a technical career with a real growth path and a company that will invest in getting you there, reach out to me directly or drop a comment below.
