Material Handler -Rollform 1st shift

Perform duties involved with hanging a variety of parts and assemblies on paint chain, removing painted parts from the chain, and banding in bundles in accordance with established procedures and methods.

Perform general material handling duties throughout manufacturing. Duties may include loading, unloading, and stacking a variety of parts.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate steel and/or plastic strapping equipment.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of material handling duties.

• Load various parts up to 50 lbs. to production equipment. Loading will include separating bundles to feed production equipment. Material may be loaded onto overhead or other conveyors to feed production equipment.
• Remove various parts up to 50 lbs. from production equipment. Unloading will include removing parts from moving conveyors or other production equipment bundling for transport to the next work center or shipping.
• Must be able to work in coordination with another material handler as many duties require working in teams of 2.
• Operate steel banding equipment to band parts.
• Must be able to work in different material handling positions as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed such as cleaning and assisting operators with machine changes and maintenance.
• Detect and report equipment malfunctions, unusual situations, and other problems to the team leader. Follow all safety rules, regulations and practices. Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned by team leader or supervisor.

1st shift:
Monday through Thursday 5:00 am–3:30 pm. Mandatory overtime on Fridays and Saturdays based on business need.
