Install Technician; Automotive Parts

Our opportunity:

We are seeking Automotive Install Technician for our Denver, NC location

Responsible for installing, testing and documenting installation of components designed and manufactured by Proto

TITAN on passenger and high-performance vehicles

• Remove and replace direct fit components on target vehicles
• Test-fit prototype and first article components on target vehicles
• Evaluate installation methods and product effectiveness
• Document installation of replacement and high performance components
• Interact with Engineering team to test vehicles and components
• Provide feedback on installation and performance of installed components
• Assemble Components under the supervision of Engineering department
• Assist in preparing engines for Engine Dyno Cell testing
• Coordinate with Fabrication and Engineering team to execute complete builds on target vehicles
• Must provide basic hand tools suitable for DIY automotive service and installation
• Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Use company provided shop equipment (lifts, evacuation equipment, jacks, lifts, specialty tools etc.) in addition to common DIY automotive service and installation tools to install direct fit components

High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to stand up to 10 hours per day and lift a minimum of 30 lbs.

• Previous experience servicing and overhauling passenger automotive vehicles
• Previous experience servicing and overhauling High-Performance Racing vehicles (Preferred)
• Previous experience assembling engines, transmissions and exhaust components (Preferred)
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint (to document installations)
