Hours:

as needed, not to exceed 8 hours a day

Pay: $17.28-$19.59 per hour

Job Overview

We are a fast‑paced and high‑demand, non‑profit program that depends on everybody in every position to help our centers function with ease. You will gain diverse experience working with an at‑risk population.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom staff in maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for children and staff.
• Support classroom activities and lesson implementation.
• Promote positive child interactions and development.
• Assist with daily routines and caregiving tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education:
  
  High school diploma, working toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) to be completed within two years of hire.
• Preferred Education:
  
  Child Development Associate (CDA) – Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Experience:
  
  Working with young children.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  2 years in early childhood education and direct experience with at‑risk population, Head Start experience.
• Personal characteristics:
  Compassionate, organized, flexible, communicator, team‑player.
• Physical ability:
  Lift 30 pounds.
