We are seeking an instructor who can teach test taking strategies and study skills to prospective nursing students who plan to take the TEAS test, a widely used pre-entrance test for nursing program admittance. This instructor will help prospective nursing students sharpen their skills and develop a reliable study program to address the following content areas in the TEAS test:
Reading, Mathematics, English and Language Arts Usage.
- Teach TEAS test preparation content and strategies to prospective nursing students.
- Help students develop a structured study program focused on Reading, Mathematics, English and Language Usage.
- College degree; BSN degree preferred
- Previous teaching or tutoring experience
- Ability to use classroom technology, such as a Smart Board or projector for PowerPoint presentations
- Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6 PM – 8 PM
- December – February – 16 sessions
- Two (2) hour class sessions with a 1/2 hour of paid prep time
$35.00 per hour; benefits n/a
