PBX Operator

SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR - PART TIME - EVENING

Saint Clare's Health, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Switchboard Operator to work evening shifts on a per diem basis. Our hospitals are CMS 5‑Star Rated and provide award‑winning, high‑quality, compassionate care to the communities of Morris, Warren, and Sussex counties.

• Answer the switchboard and pages, greeting and directing visitors to appropriate departments.
• Monitor hospital alarms and maintain awareness of all hospital emergency code policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the population served.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Previous PBX experience preferred.
• Previous office or receptionist experience.
• Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Customer service experience preferred.

The role offers competitive compensation with a reasonable estimate of $17.88 per hour, subject to final offer based on skills, experience, and credentials.
