ResponsibilitiesThe Radiology Transporter transports patients to and from the Radiology Department. Other duties include but are not limited to: darkroom duties, ordering supplies, stocking, dressing patients and front office duties. This role performs clerical duties for the Radiology Department such as answering telephones, greeting patients and preparing requisitions for outpatients. Additional duties include filing patient reports and retrieving patient records for physicians or medical records.
The Radiology Transport/Aide should demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in Radiology, demonstrate good telephone etiquette, and greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner. Provides clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.
Saint Clare's Health offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $17.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
