This position is responsible to lead, plan, implement, and continuously improve nursing services from the pre-commissioning phase through daily hospital operations, ensuring safe, effective, compliant, and patient-centered nursing care.
Key Outcomes- Fully establish nursing organizational structure, roles, and reporting lines.
- Approved and implemented nursing policies, SOPs, and clinical guidelines.
- Nursing staffing plan completed with competent, credentialed nurses recruited
- All nursing staff successfully complete orientation and mandatory training.
- Nursing workflows, facilities, and equipment are ready and validated.
- Nursing modules in Hospital Information System (HIS) tested and operational
- All nursing units achieve operational readiness approval before opening
- Successful execution of clinical simulations and emergency drills.
- Nursing services commence with minimal incidents and service disruption.
- Patient safety systems (incident reporting, IPC) are fully functional.
- Smooth handover from project team to hospital operations.
- Safe, consistent, and effective nursing care delivery across all units.

- Develop, review, and implement clinical SOPs, policies, and service protocols.
- Ensure alignment with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and accreditation standards (KARS).
- Establish clinical governance, patient safety, and quality frameworks.
- Coordinate recruitment, credentialing, and privileging of doctors in collaboration with the Medical Committee.
- Support onboarding, orientation, and training programs for medical staff.
- Ensure adequate medical coverage plans for opening and early operations.
- Support preparation for licensing, inspections, and regulatory approvals.
- Ensure clinical services meet all operational and legal requirements before opening.
- Develop and execute go-live plans (phased or full opening).
- Identify and mitigate clinical risks during commissioning and early operations.
- Support smooth handover from commissioning team to operational management.
- Oversee daily operations of medical services to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous patient care.
- Monitor service performance, patient flow, and clinical productivity.
- Address operational issues and ensure continuity of care.
- Implement and monitor patient safety programs, incident reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
