Griffin Health is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Multiskilled Data Specialist to join our Laboratory Services team. This role plays a vital part in supporting data accuracy, workflow efficiency, and client service by maintaining accurate records, coordinating information, and supporting both the laboratory and customer service functions.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Organize, file, and maintain confidential records, communications, and documents in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform accurate data entry, processing, and output tasks with attention to detail.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in information using knowledge of data processes and available documentation.
  • Collaborate respectfully and effectively with team members across departments to solve problems and support patient care.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—and medical information systems to manage and analyze data.
  • Assist the Laboratory/Specimen Receiving Team in collecting and verifying all required information for specimen processing.
  • Provide coverage and support for Customer Service as needed, ensuring professional and timely communication with internal and external clients.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree required;
    Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Preferred training in word processing, data entry, and general computer operations.
  • Strong computer literacy required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

On-the-job training provided.

  • Must possess strong problem-solving skills, accuracy, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
