• Assess clients’ mental health status, abilities, and ongoing service appropriateness.
• Assist clients in developing and implementing individual treatment plans; regularly review and modify plans, focusing on achieving goals.
• Obtain insurance authorization and complete re‑authorizations promptly.
• Communicate clients’ needs with emergency personnel and hospital staff.
• Conduct care coordination and communication activities based on needs identified in the treatment plan.

• Master’s or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology or a related mental health field required.
• Clinical experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting preferred.
• Proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office Word and Outlook, able to perform concurrent documentation and navigate through an electronic health record.
