Social Services Director

We’re looking for a Social Services Director at Tutera Senior Living and Health Care.

As a Social Services Director, you will be responsible for planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services department in accordance with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and in compliance with Federal, State, and Local guidelines and regulations, company policies and procedures, and governing agencies. You will also foster a climate that enables residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity, providing the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial well‑being.

You will identify psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs and develop or aid in providing services to meet those needs, ensuring residents receive comprehensive care that supports their dignity and independence.

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Certified, licensed, or registered in the state of practice
• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a human services field required
• Minimum of one year of supervisory social work experience in a health care setting working primarily with the geriatric population required
• Minimum of two years of prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
