Shift Lead - Domino’s Franchise

Job Description

Supervise shifts and/or work areas in the operation of an Independent Domino’s Franchisee’s (“IDF”) restaurant to ensure high‑quality products and customer service are delivered while keeping the restaurant profitable. Other responsibilities include the management of operations, execution of all Company policies, procedures, programs and systems, and compliance with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a restaurant team, maintain adequate shift staffing levels according to projected sales, and properly train team members to exceed customer expectations.
  • Ensure compliance with uniform and appearance standards and coach for improved performance.
  • Maintain a quality and customer-focused environment and build an atmosphere of teamwork, energy and fun.
  • Safely interact with customers at their homes, receive and process telephone orders, and handle sensitive and confidential customer information responsibly.
  • Execute credit transactions, make bank deposits, and respond promptly to all customer concerns or issues.
  • Solicit customer feedback, share feedback with the team, and use it to improve operations and build brand loyalty.
  • Communicate, train and promote quality standards using all available tools.
  • Operate all equipment, clean equipment and facility daily, and keep work areas organized.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, take inventory, and complete associated paperwork.
  • Prepare products, including pizza and related items.
  • Assist in the management of adequate inventory levels to minimize loss.
  • Operate all kitchen equipment safely and handle food preparation with proper motor skills.
  • Drive and deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; high school diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable vehicle record, proof of insurance, and satisfactory vehicle.
  • Ability to work scheduled or unscheduled shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergencies.
  • Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills for order processing.
  • Excellent math skills—adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing accurately.
  • Proficient in using a computer keyboard or touchscreen to enter orders.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, push, climb, stoop, bend, squat, reach, and perform eye‑hand coordination tasks.
  • Ability to lead a team during a shift with no supervision.
  • Physical demands:
    Standing, walking, sitting, lifting heavy items, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, hand tasks, and driving.

Additional Information

  • Non‑exempt, hourly position.
  • Bilingual capability is a plus in certain situations.
  • Experience with phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers is advantageous.
