Description

Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Provide detailed financial reports to support business decisions.
Oversee cost analysis and identify areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations.
Collaborate with other departments to monitor financial performance.
Support year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditors.
Implement and improve financial controls and procedures.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

A relevant accounting qualification or working towards one (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
Experience in preparing management accounts and financial reporting.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
Familiarity with the industrial or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Job Offer

A salary of £45,000 - £50,000, dependent on the level of experience.
Permanent position based in Derby.
