Purchase Ledger Clerk

SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a business in Derby who are looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance department on a temporary basis for an initial period of 3 to 4 months. You will be joining a busy and friendly team, who are looking for an extra pair of hands.

The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a well-established business within the motor industry on a temporary basis. This is a busy, fast-paced role where you'll support the finance team by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments.

Key Responsibilities

- Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Matching, batching and coding supplier invoices.
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice discrepancies.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
- Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc duties as needed.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and in line with company deadlines.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

- Previous Purchase Ledger experience, ideally within the motor industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- The ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
