Assistant Accountant

Mitchell Adam are delighted to be partnering with a well-established business with a strong presence within its industry. We are now recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join the finance function in a varied position covering both month-end and year-end accounting activities.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your accounting experience, supporting key reporting processes while working alongside experienced finance professionals. You'll gain a strong understanding of the wider finance function and have the opportunity to develop your technical skills within a supportive environment. Skills Needed Currently studying towards, or keen to pursue, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, with previous experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar role.

Experience across bank reconciliations, journals, accruals, prepayments and sales ledger. Good Excel skills and experience using financial systems. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. A broad and varied position giving you exposure to both month-end and year-end processes.
