£100–£110 per day | Full-time | 8:30am–4:00pm

Class Mate is recruiting a reliable and organised School Administration Assistant to join a primary school office. This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate, offering the potential to secure a permanent position.

The successful candidate will help ensure the school office runs smoothly, providing a friendly and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors and staff.

The role

* Process school dinner orders and related administration.

* Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to enquiries professionally.

* Welcome visitors, manage enquiries and follow the school's visitor procedures.

* Support the day-to-day running of the school office.

* Assist with general administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.

* Carry out basic first aid duties where appropriately trained and authorised.

We're looking for someone who:

* Has strong organisational and administrative skills.

* Communicates confidently and professionally over the phone and face to face.

* Is approachable, reliable and able to manage competing tasks.

* Can handle sensitive information with discretion.

* Has previous school office or administrative experience (desirable).

* Holds a relevant first aid qualification, or is willing to undertake training, if required.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.

Contract:

Temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
