We are a small but highly regarded independent Jaguar and Land Rover specialist based in Preston. About JLR Service Centre:
Our workshop provides servicing, repairs, and dealership level diagnostics for Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles. We combine years of experience with the latest technology to offer our clients exceptional service at a competitive price. We focus on building long-term customer relationships and take pride in our expertise and attention to detail. Our working week is 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available if wanted.
Key job areas of the Vehicle Technician role:
Carry out all aspects of servicing and repairs to Jaguar and Land rover vehicles. High level diagnostic work using JLR franchise systems for diagnosis. Complete job cards and write ups. Complete vehicle health checks (VHCs) Automotive electrical knowledge/experience would be advantageous but not essential
Pay and Benefits:
A Salary between £38,000 and £45,000 DOE Bonus 30 days paid holiday per year (including bank holidays). Free parking Pension scheme Bonus Tool Allowance
Minimum Requirements:
An NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Motor Vehicle Maintenance. A minimum of 5 Years experience of motor vehicle repair. Proven longer experience and a high technical level will be accepted in lieu of formal qualifications. A history of good time-keeping and reliable work. A full driving licence with maximum of 6 point. Land Rover experience would be beneficial but not essential.
