Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join a reputable main dealership in Derby. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles to manufacturer standards
Carry out diagnostic and warranty work accurately
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including cambelts and general mechanical repairs
Complete electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs)
Accurately update job cards and digital records
Ensure all work is performed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
Collaborate effectively with the workshop team to maintain quality and productivity

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Service Technician
Strong skills in servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and fault finding
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
Full UK driving licence
Motivated to learn and progress via manufacturer training
Attention to detail and team-oriented mindset
