Reporting directly to the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will either oversee the commercial management of smaller standalone projects or take on key accounts within larger, high-value frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare applications for payment, valuations, and cost-value reconciliations
Manage project costs and cash flow through forecasting, monthly reporting, and cost control
Lead procurement and management of subcontractor and supplier packages
Support risk, opportunity, and value management initiatives
Provide contract administration support, ideally with experience of NEC forms of contract
Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date
Act as a key liaison with clients, site teams, and subcontractors
Offer sound commercial and contractual advice to internal stakeholders
Proactively identify and escalate any safety or risk concerns
Requirements:
Essential:
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineMRICS or working towards APC accreditation
Previous experience with a main contractor on infrastructure or civils projects
Desirable:
Background in the water industry
Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts
