* * We’re looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for the site delivery of civil engineering works on a major construction scheme in Enfield. This is a key role for someone with a solid background in civils who can manage site activities efficiently, ensuring safety, quality, and programme requirements are consistently achieved.

** Responsibilities
* ** Manage and coordinate all on-site civil works, supervising teams and subcontractors
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
* Monitor construction progress against programme and implement corrective action when necessary
* Oversee quality control processes and ensure works meet specification and contractual requirements
* Manage site logistics, resources, and plant to maintain productivity and schedule
* Provide regular updates, reports, and site documentation for project leadership
* Support risk management and drive continuous improvement across site operations
** Must-have Requirements
*** Extensive experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering projects
* Proven ability to lead site teams and subcontractors safely and effectively
* Strong knowledge of groundworks, structures, and associated civil works
* SMSTS certification and relevant health & safety qualifications
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with a proactive approach
